Li-Feng Lo in her studio at Monash University

Li-Feng Lo, a ceramic atist from Taiwan. I met her many years ago. this is her studio at Monash University during her PHD time in 2008.

In her practice of making ceramics, Li-Feng Lo says, “I create forms that are inorganic, yet I am drawn to nature”.

Li-Feng has a deep faith in Buddhist philosophy and believes that an understanding of Buddhism can help one deal with interaction with life and the care of nature.

Her studio is very clean and well organise. Most of the things are under dust protection. Lots of natural light come through big window in front of her working table….really nice.

Li-Feng collect many bit and pieces of natural part and use as her inspiration. She display them around the studio wall. I think it is a great idea to so as it keep her focus on the current project. I should do the same in my studio.
